Throughout the weekend, gastronomy and wine enthusiasts will be able, at the Forum, to become acquainted with, try and discover products and recipes, not only from Galicia but from all over the world.
During the two days, young and old will enjoy and learn about one of most renowned sectors, that of food and wine.
On Saturday, the Forum moves to the city to hold numerous activities such as, for example, the second “Pulpeiras” (octopus cooks) Competition (the first one was held in 2008 and was a tremendous success), tastings in emblematic venues, exhibition and sampling of Galician dishes in different parts of the city, a gastronomy tour, activities for boys and girls, initiatives in the Food Market… and a lot more.
On Sunday, the Forum will continue at the Amio Exhibition Site with workshops, presentations, tastings… as well as the long-awaited Children’s Forum, which helps children to learn (while enjoying themselves) to love cooking and produce from their own region and elsewhere. In this section, children will be introduced to cooking in an active and entertaining way with highly educational workshops.
